Darren Booth’s “Painterly Fragments of Collage”

Darren Booth is a talented Canadian illustrator and hand letterer whose art has been showcased on various well-known publications, as well as exhibitions around the world. With a style that is easily recognizable and uniquely his own, Darren’s illustrations use a mixture of paint and collage.

Darren is a traditionalist. He sits down with a pencil and paper first. After a few thumbnails, then a few sketches, and a few approvals, he’ll move to the canvas and start to paint with his acrylics. With that, the collaging process begins. With a great sense of humor, you’ll really want to check out his own words! To visit Darren’s website, click here. And to follow him on twitter, click here. Also, Darren was interviewed on The Artfuls website which can be found, here.
