Myeongbeom Kim is a brilliant artist who creates installations and sculptures, most recently in Chicago. One things for sure, he knows how to make an impact. Born in Seoul and later moved to Chicago where he attended The Art Institute of Chicago, Kim’s work makes a commentary on Hylozoism (which, I had to look up the meaning to.) It’s the belief that everything in the universe is in some sense alive. And when he combines the man-made objects with nature, its beautiful and dramatic.
