San Francisco based artist, Serge Gay Jr. has art running through his veins; proven in his wonderful heritage, as he is a third generation artist. After moving to the US from his hometown in Port-au Price, Haiti, Serge attended the New World School of Arts in Miami. He then moved to Detroit to attend The College for Creative Studies which helped him harness his natural talent and launch his art career. Now a Grammy nominated illustrator, Serge has worked in graphic design, fine art and music videos! Serge Gay Jr. is a trailblazer in every sense of the word. His recent solo show “Absolute Happiness” at Spoke Art Gallery, showcased a personal narrative in, sometimes haunting but always beautiful, compositions. Serge’s blog is a must-read! Check it out often for updates on his upcoming exhibits and for sneak-peaks of works in progress.
